Breaking Language Barriers with Precision, Not Guesswork

I’m Shadab Hashmi, the founder of TransWord.AI and a professional Chinese to English and Urdu translator, working on both technical documents and literature.

The idea for TransWord.AI began a few years ago when I was translating large volumes of Chinese literature into Urdu. At the time, my primary tool was Google Translate. I would translate long paragraphs — sometimes one or two pages at a time — copy the output into my document, and repeat the process until I had a complete raw translation of the entire book.

However, the real challenge began after that.

The review and editing stage was extremely time-consuming. The translations often lacked context, consistency, and accuracy. Terminology changed across sections, and many sentences required rewriting. In many cases, I spent more time fixing translations than generating them.

With the rise of AI, I shifted to ChatGPT. The quality improved when I provided context and glossaries. But a new problem emerged: every task required detailed prompts. Translation was already mentally demanding, and constant prompting added unnecessary friction.

I needed a system where I could define how translations should behave — without repeating instructions every time.

At the same time, I also had experience running YouTube channels, where I recorded voiceovers and added background sounds and effects. I realized that translation is often just one part of the workflow. Many users do not only need translated text — they also need ready-to-use audio content.
